Stunning wedding photography at Down Hall...
Our coverage of Gemma and Michael's wedding started at Michael's house for some getting ready and details shots. Everyone was amazingly relaxed and we even had time for a bacon sandwich and cup of tea!
Over at Gemmas house the girls were having hair and make up done so we got some great natural photographs of the styling and then having got the dress and shoes shots Gemma put her amazing dress on. With more space and light downastairs we suggested using the living room to put the dress on - this always makes for great photographs - more light, more space but most of all more people!
We always want drama and emotion in our photography and reportage wedding photography needs the right elements to work successfully.
Needless to say Gemma looked stunning in her dress and having taken some really relaxed family wedding photographs in the garden - the sun was out and the weather was looking promising, we headed to the church and then to the reception for the wedding photography at Down Hall.
Down Hall is a beautiful wedding venue for photography - there really are so many options and it has such a relaxed atmosphere - it's one of our favorite venues. Anna Oliver at Down Hall did an amazing job making sure everyone was having a great time and everything ran to time.
We shot right through until 9pm and even had time for more photographs after dinner.
Photography was important to Gemma and Michael and they were really happy to spend some time getting some great photographs.
All in all an amazing day and one we will remember for a long long time.
