Repartagé … Wedding Photography in London, the UK and Europe

London wedding photography has become a specialism of ours over recent years. Having grown up in London I know how special a London wedding can be. Whether it’s the architecture, the history, the atmosphere or a bit of everything a London wedding is usually one with a difference and one that adds a special dynamic to the day.
This post will be updated over time to incorporate ideas for London wedding photography including London wedding venues that we recommend and great photography vantage points in the capital.
We’ve been shooting London wedding photography for the past 5 years now and have been fortunate to shoot at some amazing wedding photography venues. Be it wedding photography at the Wallace collection, St Brides church, wedding photography in one of the many London parks – a wedding in London is sure to keep the guests enthralled and add variation to the day.

Another aspect that London wedding photography creates is access to some amazing architecture. Be it Tudor, Georgian – modern or historical – with the venues forming a strong part of the wedding photography it can add to the poignant feel of your London wedding photography.

We’ve shot weddings in Highgate, Barnet, Islington and Hamsptead and all across South London from Clapham and Balham to Battersea and Brixton.
More recently we photographed a beautiful Chinese wedding in Mayfair, an African wedding in Trafalgar Square and a Persian wedding in West London! The multi cultural aspect of photographing weddings in London is amazing and has allowed us to be part of some amazing weddings.
One of the lovely things to do with a London wedding is to organise a Route Master bus that will not just ferry passengers together and ensure everyone arrives at the venue safely and on time but will also take in the London sights on the way. This creates a great atmosphere amongst guests and ultimately – for us provides great photographs!

Mark & Santina's beautiful winter wedding photography at the Fennes Estate, Bocking, Braintree, Essex

Mark & Santina were hoping for snow on their wedding day…. luckily they had it… plenty of it! Their wedding photography at the Fennes in Bocking, Braintree included lots of snow and it was an amazing day at a superb venue.
It doesn’t get more wintery than this! Santina started the day with her wedding photography at the Fennes in Bocking. We started there and got the getting ready photographs of Santina and all her little bridesmaids – they all looked amazing. We covered the service at the church just down the road then it was back to the Fens for the reception and wedding breakfast.
We got some beautiful photographs of Mark & Santina’s special day and they’re delighted with their pictures… they’ve already given us a mention to a friend who has since booked us for their wedding photography in Kent this year.
The Fennes is a stunning venue for photography – inside and out and the staff there were really helpful and very friendly. We’re hoping we’ll be shooting more weddings there this year as having a venue that works photographically both inside and out is a real pleasure.

We'll it's been a while in the making but at last our blog is ship shape and ready for the year ahead!

Kathy and Ben were married on the 18th July 2009.

We photographed the whole day from starting at the brides in the morning catching the make up and hair being done, the excitement and nerves, following Kathy as she chose to walk the short distance to the church - great for photographs and, as proved to be the theme of the day, something a bit different - lucky for all the weather was excellent.

A stunning service at an amazing church was preceeded by a drinks reception in Battersea Park followed by a boat trip on the lake.

The album they have chosen is a bespoke handmade Queensberry 12" matted album.

Lauren and Keith were married on a beautiful April afternoon at Mains Hall.

The weather was glorious all day and we covered the wedding from the getting ready in the morning right up to the first dance... a long day that flew by. By catching the getting ready for both the bride and the groom we were able to tell the whole story of the day from start to finish.

The album they have chosen is a bespoke handmade Queensberry 12" matted album with ivory pages and black borders - a timeless and modern style album that will show off their wedding photographs perfectly.

John and Danielle

John and Danielle got married at Mains Hall. A great venue that we love working at with a great team lead by Chriss. The weather was perfect and everybody enjoyed the day - something that really shows in the photographs. The florist was the incredible Jane at Flower Design at St Annes, Lancashire.

Hello and welcome to the Repartagé Wedding Photography Blog.

Repartagé Wedding Photography is a creative wedding photojournalism studio based in Hoxton London providing bespoke and platinum wedding photography album and cd packages to customers across the UK & Europe.

Spencer produces creative, timeless but most of all natural wedding photography in a reportage style, something that has become extremely popular in recent years as people who typically don't like to pose for photographs can enjoy more of their day with friends and family and less time posing.

The ethos at Repartagé Wedding Photography is that to get beautiful, stylish wedding photography the couple should be relaxed and enjoy the photography experience. To insure this we meet our customers twice before the wedding day for the pre wedding consultations. This enables the couple to get to know us well and so come the day it feels almost like friends taking the wedding photographs.

Throughout the day we shoot in 3 different styles of wedding photography. We spend much of the day looking for and catching moments as they happen naturally - guests laughing and joking - the emotions of friends and family. We also get group and family photographs but do this quickly and efficiently so as not to impede on the day. Our third style is contemporary portraiture where we take the bride and groom off for 20 minutes after the service either at the reception or a different location for natural and relaxed portraits.
